The ASEAN Higher Education Leadership Forum (ASHELF) is a premier regional platform that brings together higher education leaders, policymakers, academics, and industry partners across ASEAN. Anchored on the belief that higher education institutions (HEIs) require visionary, agile, authentic, innovative, and resilient leadership, ASHELF provides an avenue to reimagine the future of higher education in a rapidly changing world. In 2025, ASHELF will be held in conjunction with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to advancing collaborative higher education leadership in the region.
ASHELF 2025 will feature speakers and participants from across ASEAN, including leaders, academics, and policymakers.
The outcomes of ASHELF 2025 will directly support the implementation of the Common Space Roadmap 2026–2030, positioning higher education as a key driver of sustainable development, innovation, and competitiveness in ASEAN.
